After some nice explanations by lenoir, I am convinced canon 100L is no match for zeiss MP100. Though not exactly what I wanted but this pic I dont think I can expect from canon 100L.

Sorry for the world cup fever diversion!
That funky harsh bokeh of the ZE 28 is my biggest issue with that lens, as I prefer the bokeh of the 35/2 much better. The bokeh of the 21 in Denoir's shots looks less harsh than the 28.
I know bokeh, is a highly subjective topic.
I agree the bokeh for the 28 is funky and harsh, but I LOVE the way it looks, makes me want the 28. Though honestly I wish I could get that bokeh from a more usable FL for me, like 50+
I suppose your right, it's a highly subjective topic, though again, I'd only really wanna see that bokeh in a portrait lens, I think it would really add to my images. I'm always hoping and praying that my 50MP will give that swirly bokeh, rarely does.
I am getting my 28 and my 100MP in a couple of hours. I am interested to see if I barked up the wrong tree, delaying my re-purchase of the 35 and getting a 28... Light outside is super-harsh, though, so it will have to wait for tonight or tomorrow morning early.
wow i have visited the leica thread.... all i can say is wow!! i kinda like the zeiss glass but when you see the impressive rendering of these lenses... the only one zeiss in the same league of the 100 apo macro is the ze 100 f2 i think
any thoughts?
Adam: +1
I really like the 28. Just a couple of shots with the 28 from the past week. The bokeh and feel is different. I am thinking this will do really well with street like portraits. According to Lloyd, he did not think this lens was as well suited to landscapes, so this may the forte of this lens. I do like lenses that have character
Nice pics but....
Please don't talk up the 28/2. I don't have any money left. For that matter no more mention of the 50 1.4's painterly feel...

Engels, Nederlands, Noors, Zweeds, ... zo moeilijk is het allemaal niet. Frans en Duits kan ik ook nog wel hebben, maar veel gekker dan dat moet het niet worden.

Not bad. I'm sure you'll really enjoy them - especially the 100MP.

Aber natürlich, Deutsch! Wir mussen Deutsch schreiben! Wir möchten nicht, dass die Deutschen auslassen fühlen.

Haha! Du får väl lära dig svenska, för jag förstår vartenda ord du skriver!

Yes, it's a matter of different optical design philosophies. I've only used one Leica lens; the Summicron-C 40/2 (which is said to be very similar to the 35/2 M), and while it is great, it doesn't render like the Zeiss lenses. So it's a matter of taste. I prefer Zeiss, while I also really appreciate Leica style.
By the way, I just got the 100/2 Makro-Planar. And...jeeeez, what a lens!!! Goodbye Nikkor, I'm leaving you forever. I'll be back soon with some pictures.
i like the zeiss much more, the crazy 3d , the microcontrast(the demonstration of Denoir is absolutely amazing) and the pictures taken by talented people have won me in this regard.
thanks for the thought Makten

Danke philber! Französisch kann ich leider nicht, sonst hätte ich Dir jetzt in Französisch geantwortet. Ansonsten noch Glückwunsch zu Deinen beiden neuen Objektiven und viel Spaß damit.
Looking forward to your pictures Makten, I was veery close to buy your Samyang lens but I finally decided I need to shot more photos, not buy more lenses

It's still for sale, just for that reason. I'm getting rid of everything longer than 50 mm. The Samyang is a bargain, but I'll probably not use it anymore now.
Alright, here are my first shots with the 100/2 Makro-Planar. Just playing around, but my oh my, what a lens it is!
The last one shows the M6 I got today, with the good ol' Zeiss 35/2.8 C-Biogon. I'm hoping to shoot a couple of rolls this weekend.
