Yes, it\'s a matter of different optical design philosiphies. I\'ve only used one Leica lens; the Summicron-C 40/2 (which is said to be very similar to the 35/2 M), and while it is great, it doesn\'t render like the Zeiss lenses. So it\'s a matter of taste. I prefer Zeiss, while I also really appreciate Leica style.
By the way, I just got the 100/2 Makro-Planar. And...jeeeez, what a lens!!! Goodbye Nikkor, I\'m leaving you forever. I\'ll be back soon with some pictures.
