Yes, my experience is that it is very difficult to get optimal sharpness with the ZF.2 100/2 wide open when shooting handheld.

I have follow this post for a long time but since I don't own any Zeiss glass I have never posted. I had the opportunity to try out a Zeiss 21 ZF.2, I think this was the best one I got.

Hi, I'm new here (and still very much learning photography in general), but thought I might post something a little different than a lot of what I've been seeing. And yes, I realize I'm a little weird for doing portraits with a 50mm lens.

I've cranked the sharpness and clarity way higher than I would usually, but I think it gives a nice effect in this particular image.
