bpark42 - Great to see your work again. Beautiful shot. Love the stillness of snow versus dynamic movement of water.
Thanks, akul. I'm glad to see you are still active in this thread. I like the b&w conversions though my favorite here is the color shot of the snow on the leaves.

That's my wife and dog in that image.
They made the composition perfect ! Looks like a bit of dreary weather. Rain always make interesting shots though. BW is right on.
bpark42 - Thank you. And, yes, I am still here shooting tree trunks and broken bicycles.
Hexonxonx - Nice dynamic sky. Skyline could be a tad lighter ?
Uzay - Nice capture of light and shadow
Rodluvan - This winter is unusual. Snow yesterday was only the second this winter in the city, and the first that did not melt right away. I can't believe you guys still don't have snow. Global warming ! Amazing what you achieve with street shots. Love that red lady (#2), that is a wall hanger IMHO. #4 is also quite striking.
plasticmotif - I like the theme of looking down toward water in this series. #1, 5 stands out to me. The little spider shot is very nice too.
One more shot from yesterday. I wanted to see how 1.4/35 shoot the bridge I have shot many times, but this time, with snow.

Nice shot Wayne! I'm sure Philber is licking his lips seeing these...
Thanks SKumar25! It has been raining almost every day since I got my rented copy of the lens so it has been hard to get any shooting in. Got some shooting in on Sunday between the rain showers at Stanford Univ.
I hope Philippe gets his copy soon, I think it will be a good lens for Paris city shooting.
I was wondering if Ant has seen any of the recent 25/2 shots posted by everyone as he said he really wanted this lens.
I took this shot thinking of him and his street shooting and since I don't live in a major city and have access to good street shooting, I thought I could at least show the sharpness and 3-d rendering this lens has wide open up close for portraits and street people shots, even in bad overcast lighting.
Thank you! Half an hour of various selective adjustments, contrast, some color manipulation. Not sure how much it is of PP - lots or not so much! Final result is what matters on my mind.
with a Nikon d7000 is there a lens(LENSES) in the ZF.2 line up that are most compatible. I began with the 50 1.4 because of the focal length and the price, N0w I can move on to another. thanks joanlvh
