with a Nikon d7000 is there a lens(LENSES) in the ZF.2 line up that are most compatible. I began with the 50 1.4 because of the focal length and the price, N0w I can move on to another. thanks joanlvh
They are all compatible. It's more what focal length. And what kind of style you like to have on your lens.
Nice shots Cyra and Akul!
@Akul, yes that is The Burghers of Calais Rodin statues at Stanford Univ.
Thanks, the right bronze coloring is sometimes hard to get right in some kinds of lighting like that day.
@Akul A mundane subject captured with excellence (specifically the second photo of the three freights).
Here's a photo with the 1.4/35 ZF.2 on D700. Now this is a downsized sample o/c shot at 1.4 (1/45), but in the original individual strands of hair on eyebrow is clearly distinguishable etc. Needless to say, I have no hesitation of calling this lens both sharp and contrasty regardless of aperture.
Lars, Wayne, Martynas, Rodluvan - Thank you so much for your kind words.
Jim - Beautiful bokeh. Nice showcase of 35's characteristics. I also enjoy the approach that is different from what I am used to see in your work.
martyn. - This is a surreal shot for me. The flatness of subject and the hyper detail, with the little clue on the left. Love it.
Martynas - Beautiful leaves. Gorgeous light coming through. I hope this is not from recent shot though, it is a bit too early to see spring leaves. When weather turn cold, they will get hit badly.
Tri Tran - Nice capture of dynamic water.
Rodluvan - Great composition. Direction of her eyes toward light make this shot very strong. And it is clearly not posed. Great color and clarity.
