martyn - Yeay. Love your shots from Sorrento. I can see the beauty of Southern Italy from your pics, white buildings and intricate narrow streets with scorching sun burning your eyes.
nickson - Great to see your work here again. Beautiful set. I really like the color scheme ( white balance ? ) of the series. It feels like I am looking at an untold murder mystery. Last Year at Marienbad, sort of feeling.
Uzay made me think about 21 more. So here goes a shot with 21.
Thanks Luka and I agree. #1 is heavily cropped. I tried a few different crops but this one was the most "fun". My favorite is also #3. That's my wife and dog in that image.
Wow ! Paris was blessed today again with the clouds from hell™
I 'am signing for more, we have enough boring 18% grey days already ...
35/2 @ f8
Nice to see more 50P and 85P pics, have both, LOVE 50P, haven't use the 85P that much ( yet ) and this lens is for the advanced Zeiss focussing Jedi Master I'am not ( yet ) look at all the distances on the barrel ( facepalm )
I practice often target shooting like draw the DSLR and shoot various distances in shortest time possible, moving objects etc, it really helps to shoot when it matters
Oh, I think I recognize something. Did you once take a shot from the other end, with a camera position allowing viewing through the columns, with a couple of people walking around outside?
I was in Istanbul once a long time ago. I would love to go back.
About twelve months ago I started reading through this thread from the beginning, (I am up to around page 300 now) the wonderful images that I have seen are what led me down the path of Zeiss lenses.
Now a few pounds (sterling) lighter, I am really enjoying my photography, it reminds me of my youth with my Minolta XG2 and manual focus glass.

Rodluvan - Great shots from Istanbul with 1/4/50. Love the texture of mud you caught. I feel like I can touch it, not that I want to Portraits with 85 are stunning but, my most favorite is the security camera. Great eyes. I Your shot gives strange persona to the device.
Shots from yesterday with 1.4/35
...
Thanks Akul!
Looks like you have more snow in NYC than we do in Stockholm (it's been a terrible winter if you like snow).
Took the ZF's MP100 and 1.4/35 out today. This is what it looks like!
