Ruben - As always, deep saturated beautiful color. #1, 2, 4 are my favorite.
pingflood - congrats on your new family member. Nice portrait.
-OlAf- - Stunning detail showcasing MP50.
JSPHOTOS - #2 is beautiful
Dalmas - Beautiful architecture shot. And, congrats, you made the 400 page !

Dalmas: beautiful shot.
Luka: lovely shots from Acadia National Park. difficult to pick a favorite.
Andrew: loved the steam engine shot. Who doesn't love trains?
thebratts: welcome on board. Lovely shots. I loved #1.
Nick: good shot.
Jim: lovely shot. Great colors as always.
Phil: amazing shot. great sharpness and color.
+1 .. My thoughts exactly! Great work all of you! And Manoj, great barn shot as well!
Andrew - Very nice steam locomotive shot. I am amazed by the amount of clean detail from this shot with NEX5N. I have NEX5, and clearly, 5N is a step forward. Great focusing job, with NEX + alt lens, shooting moving subject has been a challenge .
thebratts - Welcome to the tread. #1 and #5 are my fav. Wonderful capture of light and composition on #5. The scene makes me feels like 'something is about to happen'.
nickson - Love the detail, texture and DOF of the shot
Jim - A fine still life, like a painting
Jojomon - One thing 35 1.4 shot always makes me think is the lack of distortion compare to f2 version. Adding the sense of 'being there'. Lovely leaf.
Manoj - Beautiful light on the barn shot. To my eyes, sharpening is just right as I don't get the 'flattened' feel from your shot. Collapsed house in front of the barn is very interesting.
-OlAf- - The waterfall shot is amazing ! I can hear the roar of water. Brilliant. Nice capture of bird in flight. Beautiful head it has. Do you know what kind of bird ?
One more question before pulling the trigger on some Zeiss lenses. There have been comments about relative stiffness in focusing, some more than others, apparently. Does anyone know if that stiffness notably increases below, say, 20 degrees Fahrenheit? Below 0 degrees Fahrenheit?
thebratts: beautiful perspective on the above shot. one of the best things I love about these lenses is the way it gives a 'milky' look to the highlights. Its not distracting as other lenses from nikon/canon, where the highlights can be sharp and distracting.
Olaf: fabulous waterfall shot. As Luka said, you can actually feel the force.
