So much good stuff on this page; I am too slow to comment on everything, but Luka, more great shots, thebratts, first and last are wonderful, and Philippe, that second shot is awesome!
I assume your comment referred to the last picture, which I reoriented just a bit, using a different vertical as the reference. Needless to say, a tilt-shift would have been great! I am looking for a Leica one on my new NEX.
I've been lurking in the "Alternative Gear & Lenses" section of Fred Miranda for quite sometime. I'm absolutely astounded at the IQ that one can get using the modern Zeiss glass, legacy Contax Zeiss lenses, and Leica R on modern digital bodies like the 5D Mark II. It's very close to, if not the same IQ as analog MF.
Seeing the images posted in this thread and the Leica R thread totally inspired to start shooting again after more than a decade of shooting only on P&S (analog and digital) or Polaroid.
The first Zeiss lens I purchased is the 100mm Makro-Planar which I received in June, and I have just taken delivery of a Zeiss Distagon 1.4/35.
I want to give special thanks to Philber, Denoir, snowboarder, Makten, and Samuli Vahonen for the absolutely outstanding images they have/are posting!
Anyway, here are some of my first images from the 100mm Makro-Planar ZE back in June (travel and work kept me from posting sooner).
No PP except for blackpoint adjustment in Aperture 3. Slight sharpening applied on images 3, 4, and 5, to compensate for resizing.

Actually more #1 and #2… Or maybe you intended them like that? With my ZF21, sometimes I will shoot horizontally, and then crop from the bottom, to avoid converging lines. I don't know if that would work for you though.
Carsten, Wayne - I am on the other side of the camp on this issue. Vertical correction tends to sacrifice everything else but the vertical lines. If vertical line is at most desired, one should shoot with telephoto and from distance.
ltruong8 - Very nice color. #5 is my fav
Siddhu - welcome to the thread. Nice shots. looking forward to see more photos
frezeiss - Last shot is my fav. And, welcome to the thread.

You can also just use a T/S lens like Philippe mentioned or a pano head.
Anyway,I just wanted to add that I really like Philippe's earlier hareem building shot which was framed by the archway.Nice composition.
