Great Regents Canal shots! I've walked down there from the Hackney end a few times with my camera but never got much more than a load of bent railings, graffiti and rubbish floating in the water shots!
Here are a few more from Silverstone with the 35f2:
I'm just back from a cruise that left Amsterdam and went around the Norwegian coast. I took five lenses - 21ZF, 35/2ZF, 100/2ZF, Nikon 180 (only used a few times) and a Nikon zoom that I never used . This was really my first opportunity to spend a lot of time with my Zeiss lenses. Here are four from the first couple of days.
First, an HDR from Amsterdam shot with the 35:
In Stavanger, Norway, the Arcadia came in close by the Constellation and did a fancy docking job. Shot with the 21.
It was really rainy and foggy in the fjord. Shot with the 35.
Amazing shots, love the rain being blown on the last one!
Gunzorro, thanks for the compliments! For Jaguar overload check my website here: http://rcyoung.co.uk/#1827159/Jaguar-E-Types probably too many but I found it hard to pick which ones to post, so pretty much slapped them all up! All shot with a 200L so can't post here
Ulff: great detail and I like the miniaturisation effect.
Ajay C: nice contrast between the pastel coloured sky and the rocks.
R. Young: Great serie of the E-types. I can see a lot of depth in the pictures.
Dergiman: wow!
partitura: nice HDR of our capital city, but your last shot is my favourite (nice aspect ratio)
Here are two with the ZE 21/2.8, each followed by two from the same angles but with Canon 15/2.8 Fisheye. All shot without tripod at 1/10 sec, f/4.0, ISO 400, with my old 5D.
I find the 15FE to have exceptional performance, particularly contrasted against the acclaimed ZE 21/2.8. This was my first test run of either of these lenses to check their suitablility for twilight city shots this fall. The results are pretty good, but off-center there is significant coma in the FE and noticable coma in the Zeiss. Later, I will do more testing on tripod at f/8 and see how these lenses deal with specular lights/coma. I am optimistic about their performance and will join the 24TSII as twilight candidates.
