Basically, everything from Monterey Bay down to Morro Bay. Don't miss Point Lobos between Carmel and Monterey, one of Ansel Adams favorite spots -- rocks and sea. Also, 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, and Morro Rock further south.
@Carsten: Inspiring story even from your short description. Makes me think of this thread that I completely read through, with lots of pictures: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504942
(I know, not the same kind of road trip; this is a bit more extreme and in very different countries.)
ZE 100 in a pharmacy. A Chinese pharmacy in Bangkoks Chinatown. It never stops to amaze me how much "medicin" they give the costumers in a Chinese pharmacy
Lars, I really like your last pharmacy shot, although I would probably prefer a slightly higher framing without the reflecting (metal?) plate at the bottom.

abhijeeth - Quite an amazing shots with tremendous detail.
Bob - Pretty leaves, great color.
Lars - Splendid color, moment, and compostion ! Are they fish ? They look very yummy ! Second set from pharmacy, the second shot caught my attention. Hand on the book, is very expressive and strong.
sangdabom73 - First shot is awesome . 'lack of skills' ? I think you are being to hard on yourself, or too humble. Great shots.
Dalmas - I love the third shot, Torn chain link fence in stunning light. The opening making the space open, leaving some imagination what lies beyond. Definitely my favorite.
Here is something you don't see very much--birds taken with the 100MP (on a Canon 5DMkII).
These are the very blue feet of a blue footed booby in the Galapagos, taken with my 100MP. The birds don't move much, and this one just hung around while I look innumerable photos. This is my favorite.
Bob, the last picture "church roof" is pretty interesting due to symmetry but right side being darker due to window on left.
Sang, liked the 1st image "technically" but the horizon in middle didn't work for me.
Dalmas, liked the boat image, excellent usage of DOF; whole boat in focus (almost) and scenery in back is blurred.
Lars, I liked last pharmacy photo (bottles), telephoto compression and good DOF usage.
Akul, 2nd photo is very good - Based on how leaves look I assume you didn't use polarizer, might be worth trying.

Above pictures link to 1920px versions.
Akul, excellent second shot!
Samuli, there is something "different" in your third shot. On the one hand, very nice point of view and composition, giving a brilliant "alive" effect, but somehow the foreground feels oversharpened, although that is hard to imagine coming from you.

What you see is combination of shooting directly to sun and diffraction from f/13; the edges of leaves reflect the sunlight and diffraction over exaggerates this effect. Should used my own advice I gave to Akul using the polarizer filter...
Lars: Great pharmacy shots.
akul: Nice forrest set which inspires me.
Samuli: I feel very much at home in your shots from the forrests. Great shots.
kevphoto: Some blue in that shot!!

Akul, I love those shots. They make me want to head out to Grunewald again. It is quite far away from here though.
Samuli, your shots are, as always, very inspiring.
Since feeling like I have come to an end on my Tiergarten series, I have been stuck, not really knowing in what direction to go next. I could re-visit old projects and try to get some closure there, I could walk around and look for inspiration, I could sit at the computer and do some research, I could just read some photo books, and so on. I think today I will go out with the D3 and 100 MP and see what comes. I feel the urge to do some kind of detail work.
