Happy New Year to everyone !!!! A year ago, I did not even know the existence of this forum nor thread. This thread has been a big source of inspiration and education for me. Thanks to all of you!!
Philber, thanks and welcome back. Sorry about your trouble with CF card. Good luck salvaging. May be NEX shots??
rsolti13- I like the #2 and #3. #3 is hilarious with the pose of sculpture + red ribbon + the way how water is so 'tada', sorry for my poor expression, anyway, great shot!
Hugo - spectacular shot of fireworks!
Toothwalker - Beautiful set. Great composition on the second. I really like the way how bent walkway leads to boats on that shot. On the third shot, the pattern on the water is beautiful contrast to the trees.
johnahill - Beautiful shots. Reflection on the second one is beautiful
Philber - Sorry about the bad weather. I really like the second shot with four domes lining up. Quite an interesting architecture with window structures and chimneys made like small towers, resembling small group of buildings within buildings. Christmas tree decorations look like they are going to fall out of my screen
side question for Nikon owners. I have now had a ZF.2 21 and 100. Both of them go beyond infinity and I have to go slightly before infinity to hit infinity. I have never had that issue with a ZF.1 version. Anyone else have that same issue?
I believe I am now officially a Zeiss addict. It started with the 50/1.4. Then the 21, followed by the 35/2. Today I got my 100/2. I think I'll stop now!
To me the 50 and 35 have very different purposes. Since I'm shooting full-frame, the 35 is a nice, moderately wide, very sharp landscape lens. For me, the 50 is more of a walk-around normal and low-light portrait lens. The 50 is nice and small compared to all the others.
