rsolti13 - Beautiful wet land shots. The pano with long horizontal set up is very effective.
Donuss - The 18 shot is amazing. I can see the rain going down from cloud on the left, and right side looks very calm. Beautiful juxtaposition. Dynamic yet calm, great shot.
jph1 - pretty color
carstenw - Powerful set with beautiful color of old metal equipments. I enjoy use of vertical position for all frames on these. Last shot is my favorite.
Bob - I am glad you made home safe. It must have been quite an ordeal. Love the PP on those fog shots. My favorite is the last one.
Thanks very much Bob and Akul. The last shot is of one of my favorite machine details, see my avatar
Great tree shots, Bob. I prefer the last one. Akul, nicely seen light in the track shot, and also in the railing shot. Is there a flash going off, or what is lighting the railing?
No flash, it was lit by street lamp behind me. I tried to lessen the 'flatness' feel coming from the light right behind, but did not want to get too much into pp. I have not decided how I feel about this shot myself, but I liked the way color contrasted.
karelg - Beautiful sets. I like the #1 #2 from the first set, I have a weakenss with chain link fence. The sculptural tree on the last shot on the second set is very pretty. It almost felt like tropical tree from some reason. Strange thing brain does.
Bob- Great series of night shots of industrial area. I like the tone you used. Use of reflection from water and rails are very effective. Wonderful
Makten - Those are amazing photos. I admire that first shot. Great texture and composition. Serene and beautiful.
Guys, I have been out for a three day shoot, and already there are too many pics to comment on in detail. Akul, Karel, Bob, Ryan, Makten, brilliant work!
On my side, for three days the light was totally miserable, and the only shooting I could do was strictly testimonial: to prove that I had been there. I will try to see if I can salvage 4 or 5 postable ones. Salvage is meant letterally, because I got a corrupt CF card as well, so I am running recovery software. Funny how, now that I can't get at them, I miss the pictures that I thought were pretty bad....hmmmm....
