Leif... wow... welcome to the thread... and great contributions!!
Denoir, you always have such a great mood to your shots. I don't know if it's the time of day you shoot, your settings or your post work, but whatever it is I wouldn't change a thing. Great images.
Joakim, yes, it's heavily tilted. This was in order to get the prow of the ship up closer to the upper right part of the image in order to make it a more natural leading point into the image.
Leif: Great shots. Love the third image!
dj dunzie: I try always to pick a good time of day for light - typically at late afternoon/dusk and at night. Nice shots! I really like the first and last shots.
philber, dj dunzie & denoir: thanks very much guys for your kind words. I'm sure I'll be posting more now that I've gotten a taste for it!
djdunzie: I liked your "Not Wilting" photo quite a lot. It's got almost a b/w feel to it, and the flowers creating a very sharp and colorful contrast. Nice!
As always. Great set. Third one is sort of uncanny. It is quite hyper detailed, and the grain of sand feels almost like film grain. For a moment I thought it was your film shot.
