Keep them coming guys. Love this thread.
I have to send my 5D2 to canon to clean the sensor and replace the focus screen (scratches), should i put an EG-S?

I agree. The problem is, that I often prefer the 35mm angle over 50mm (or 100mm). What I would like is a 35mm lens with the performance/characteristic of the 100MP oder 21 Distagon. Maybe the new 1.4/35 ZE will solve my problem.

It's quite possible that it will. I actually prefer my Zeiss 35/1.4 Rollei to the 35/2 ZE at infinity. Neither is in the 21 Distagon class though.

Lovely shots Hugo. You mean you have not been using an EG-S screen so far? I find it to be an absolute necessity for focusing using the optical viewfinder. The regular viewfinder gives you about f/4 DOF at best.

Boris, love the shot with the 35! It was nice hear your views on the 21 versus 35, as I find myself deciding which to use often. You want the IQ with the 21, but FL of 28/35 for the shot.
Uzay, nice shots!
Martin, if I have not mentioned, that #2 is stunning. Just shows what the 50/1.4 can achieve in the right hands
Hugo, really nice shots!
Luka, amazing shots!!! I think, tough call is #3 from the last set.
Boris, wonderfull stuff from Iceland, nr 5 and 6 are my favorites.
To many good stuff on previous pages to catch up with, excellent work all!
Over here it is autumn (althoug today is more like summer), all ZE 35/2 on 550D, most or all @ f10:
#1
#2
#3
#4
(ssssshhhttt: blasphemy over here: I also did #3 and #4 with my 100L to compare Zeiss look with Canon look, since the famous 100MPvs100L coffee mug example here on ALT showed such a clear winner - 100 MP, in my examples the images are really close - to my eyes and with my 2008 iMac monitor, but of course you can't compare 35 mm to 100 mm, now can you?)
Hugo: The first forest photo is nice, I think the landscape view gives a much more harmonic composition with the 21 and so many vertical lines. Also great composition in the "aerial" photo.
Luka, the first photo (Nordiska museet?), with the 85, is great. Great light, great composition. I like how you used the reflexes in the second night photo.
Boris, great set where #5 and #6 are my favourites.
I received the 50mm Makro-Planar earlier this week and here's three images from the first stroll around town. My first images posted to this thread, so please be gentle..!
