Ryan the detail in that shot at original size is crazy. Interesting that the EXIF is saved but only for one of the shots - at 00:46.44 on the 26th.

I have never got into these kind of stitches but they sure are cool to check out.

Thank you Charles and Luka, great photos everyone.

Boris, if you don't mind i didn't like the HDR, maybe because of the saturation or tone mapping they gave me the cartoon look, i really prefer your other shots.

Regards

Makten, that second shot with the river and the bridge is breathtaking - what city is that? Wonderful light and atmosphere...

You guys are killing me, I can't even remotely keep up with the same rhythm/ speed of posting....

Makten, I just love the first shot of the sails. Some outstanding images on the last few pages here. Keep 'em coming all!

Meant to get out today but alas the rain is keeping me from venturing too far from the front porch. Liked the water droplets on this little guy... ZF100/f2MP:

Tried a contrasty BW convert quickly, but not sure I like the results:

Keep the inspiration coming though everybody... quickly becoming my favorite thread ever (and most costly!)...

Boris, this one is great, do you find 35 more comfortable than 21 at landscapes?

No, I prefer the 21. But 35mm is also a nice angle for landscapes. For really good 21mm pictures you need an interesting foreground, which is not always there.

An ultra wide takes more to use than a 35. But the results are usually more dramatic with the 21.

Uzay, this thread is the best place for landscapes here on FM.

Really nice colors in that shot Boris and perfect illumination. I personally very seldom choose the 35/2 for small aperture landscape shots and opt to use the 21 instead. The 35/2 IMO isn't all that great performer at infinity - it lacks a lot of the fine detail produced by the 21. I like the 35/2 best at medium distance and wide aperture. When I find the 21 too wide, I usually go for the 50 MP, 85/1.4 or 100 MP.

I agree. The problem is, that I often prefer the 35mm angle over 50mm (or 100mm). What I would like is a 35mm lens with the performance/characteristic of the 100MP oder 21 Distagon. Maybe the new 1.4/35 ZE will solve my problem.
