Martin, you two first shots are beyond magnificent. When zeissimages is done with its pictures sales section, I would love to buy copies from you. And don't pay too much homage to Luka, he doesn't like the 50 f:1.4. That means he's not perfect (yet)!

Thanks philber! Right before I read this your post I decided to make a homage to you too. (check my edit) And yes, the Planar 50/1.4 is magic. It does magic.
Edit: Buying copies? Blah, they are for free. If you want to print one, just let me know and you'll get the full resolution picture to do whatever you want with it. Except making money from it.

I'd like to call the last one a homage to Denoir for some reason!
I'm honored! Or should I interpret it as that you want me hanged? That noose looks a bit ominous
That second image is fantastic - almost like a painting.
I'm guessing you shot that yesterday - there was really some awesome light in Stockholm in the afternoon. You definitely made a smarter choice of location than I did
Philippe, I have nothing against the 50/1.4. On the contrary, both you and Makten have provided excellent examples taken with that lens. However, I consider the case of the 50/1.4 vs 50 MP to be similar as the 85/1.4 vs 100 MP. The Makro Planars are excellent at whatever you choose to do with them while the Planars are excellent at some things while not brilliant at others. As much as I like the 85/1.4, I would never recommend it outright to anybody - you need to know what you are getting yourself into. AFIK the same holds for the 50 Planar.

Boris, great colors. The waterfall in the background is the same shot you posted earlier, right?
Thanks and no it's a different waterfall. The other one was much bigger/higher.
Makten, your second Image is fantastic (great light).
Philippe: even if you would have suggested that I was wrong (using the 35ZE), that would be perfectly ok for me. If everybody just says "great picture" you don't learn much. So a suggestion/question like "why didn't you use a 21mm lens in this situation?" is a great and helpfull comment.
Here are some HDRs from Iceland (all from Sedisfjördur). Normally I prefer HDRs that don't look like HDRs, but this time I liked the more artificial look. Is this too extreme?
Charles,
Great shots. I love them all. I just re-read your post and realized it was ZM25 on M9, which made sense, it was clearly no 21 shots, and clearly not 35, so I got a bit confused and re-read. I am intrigued by the rock on the last one with contrast to city lights and how the eye of cloud placed just above the city light. Very dramatic.
Nice shots, Charles! N°3 could be my favorite, though the vignetting doesn't work for me.
Boris, I love your "blue boat" series. The first two woudl be fantastic "ghost ship" shots, except for the refinery on the other side of the water. The third one is visually very powerful, and, as usual, you tend to compose/crop tighter than I would.
Luka, love your first and third!
Congrats to all three!
