Hello all. Just to let everyone know, I have become another victim of this thread. I had never thought of a Zeiss lens before, but then I stumbled onto this thread the other day while laid up with a torn Achilles tendon.
My torn tendon and this thread ended up costing me $850 yesterday as I bought a 35ZE off the Buy and Sell forum!
I have enjoyed all the wonderful photography throughout this thread and I am waiting anxiously for my my 35ZE to come in. I had no idea I would become so enamored with a lens in one afternoon.
I would also like to try out the 100 and the 21, but I have been seriously considering the Canon 35L since that is where my need is right now, so the 35ZE was a perfect fit.
Zeiss really should link this thread on their website! Have a great weekend and I hope to post some pics in the near future.

Luka....in your last shot is that a lake/river/pool? Seems odd to have stairs going into anything other than a pool. If a lake/river, do people actually swim in there? BTW...beautiful colors, really like composition of #2
Thanks
No, it's a lake alright. I don't think anybody has been swimming there yet as that area is under construction but yes, people swim in similar places during the summer.

Luka recently said that I loved to post that I love my Planars, but that it might be a good idea to stop talking about it if I didn't do anything about it...
His wish is my command. With Planar 85, the so-called "tricky" lens
Nice, I love the cat and the sphinx statue
As for the 21 shot... What the devil is that? As Toothwalker said - deeply disturbing, but still awesome shot!
TJ: Contrats to the lens! I'm sure you'll enjoy it and that we'll see some of your creations here soon
Wow, this thread is moving fast. I cant believe my last upload here was a month ago back on page 110.
Great photo's here as usual, good to see some new folks too.
August was a wash-out for me as far as my normal shooting goes, 8 days in Cyprus with NEX-3, an airshow with just 50D + 400/5.6 and now i'm ill with some sort of throat infection.
I haven't touched my Zeiss lenses in a month, I'm itching to get out.

Excellent shots Philippe! Great shots with the 85!!! Not to sure about the 21 ..very interesting! Love the last 85 shot, is really showing how the 85 performs. At f2, excellent rendering.
