Some shots from the first couple days with the new-to-me ZE 28/2, trying on three different bodies so far with very good results: two Sony a7R2's with matched MC-11 and Canon 5DsR. Next up, give it a whirl on my original a7R.

Nice set Jim - the flower shot really illustrates how the FC can help create a sense of depth.
I generally do not correct FC with this kind of shot. Just landscapes.
Thanks Dave! Yes, I often find the lens aberrations add character and influence which lens I use, or how I use that lens. I think this will be an interesting lens for some of the dense landscapes I favor, where there are objects from near to far to deal with, either making the scene as sharp as possible or selective focus. Seems like an interesting lens and great addition to my ZE 25/2 and 35/2 (all three bought here on B&S).
Ended up doing the silky one this time. Flow in the dark by micke vmix, on Flickr

I can almost feel the enjoyment of shoot manual Zeiss with big bright D850's OVF for these images. Nothing approach the pleasure out of that experience from photography Nowdays, I get those enjoyment from Leica S and Nikon DF for the similar that Z7 can't give me.
People brag about how advanced their systems are but forget for most of people (include who feel good about their tools' tech) the pleasure of this hobby is not flying AF point and 10FPS in-focused images.
Thank you for remind me that pleasure and truth about photography. These images brought smile on my face.
