Just a heads-up, BorrowLenses.com is having a sale on used lenses right now. I haven't looked at the ZE mounts, but in ZF/ZF2 there are some deals to be had: 50MP from $490, 50P from $320, 100MP from $700, etc. I bought a 35/1.4 from them over the holidays and, to their credit, they did a great job of taking care of me when I had an issue with it.
After having some fun with a Loxia 21 and Contax Zeiss 35-70, I decided to pick up a ZM 35/1.4 to replace my CV 40/1.2 on my Sony A7Rii! Really needed the wider angle of view first and foremost, but my landscape/architecture walk around shots could always use more contrast and saturated colors (although I do like the softer/flatter rendering of people through the CV 40). My second ever test shot showed some funky field curvature, but I haven't had too many real life issues with it since then. I was ready to go in with a PCX filter, but I don't want a mid zone drop at wide apertures because I like to use it wide open for environmental portraits.
Hope to make some meaningful contributions to the thread soon!
Was out strolling through some woods and came across something that I never would have guessed. An old abandoned Packard, discarded and forgotten. Taken with my Nikon Df / Zeiss Distagon 28f2 ZF.2
