James, This cat likes me to fill the tube up with hot water. And than empty it, and dry fast , so she can jump in and sleep in the warm tub. What can I say, I do it , its not like I have a life or anything.
House cats universes are very small, and I have no problem serving them like the good slave I am.

Catfur, how it cheating to use the Nikkor 300 2.0 to take shot of my Kitty
I also slapped on a thin P.K tube to be able to focus this close. For this shots I left the lights low and rested the big lens on a handy bar stool. She only held still for a couple frames and than she was gone.

Because you used gear that cost more than what I made this year to take the shot...

Gregory, those are lovely shots of your kitty, both in the tub (good slave!) and the portrait. Mine will wait for me to set up, and just as I lift the camera, move and lose the moment I'm not quite strong enough yet to start chasing them with the camera again.

Precious one, David! The one in the back, however, looks to be giving you "the look"

My wife said that the orange cat was saying "you brought this little b___ into my house?" :-)

My oldest son's little one, Patches. She's definitely an inquisitive cat.

FYI, this photo thread brought much joy to my two year old daughter, who wasn't feeling very well, last night. Gabrielle spent an hour curled up on the couch with me looking at these and excitedly telling me about the "pretty kitty cats" she was seeing.

I don't own either cat. Both were just random shots of cats in Japan.
