Not a great shot, shooting a dark cat against a bright background, but what can I say... I'm a cat fancier. This cat belongs to a neighbor of friends I was visiting for Thanksgiving yesterday. I grabbed a quick shot with the 50 f/1.2 AI-s,
I came across a photo I took in September while visiting in the Netherlands. Femmus is a housemate of my friend... an adventurous cat who has been known to fall off this balcony to the roof below...
This is our new 16 week old bunny called Bo. He's about 1/3rd the size of our other two bunnies. They're currently fighting for dominance in the house so we have to keep them apart most of the time otherwise they'd kill each other. In a few weeks they'll have sorted it out and be a big happy family.
I've loved cats since I was a young boy when I would round up all the cats in the neighborhood and lock them in our garage. I've lived with cats and loved the experience, but at the moment I can't have a cat in my home. I'm obliged to get my cat fix wherever and whenever I encounter a willing feline. I always enjoy the experience. This is Midnight who lives with friends I visited on Christmas day. He is a talkative, friendly cat who loves this perch.
Great shot, Curtis! I love black cats, as you may know.
Here are my first offerings in the thread, Japie and Femmus on display.
I bought them a new toy, as Femmus wants to be as high as possible at the moment. He jumps from chairs on top of doors, so I wanted to give him something to climb in, he's sort of an uncontrollable cat, lots of fun of course, but nothing is safe.
It seems though that Japie, the black one, does NOT want to leave his perch.
