That would be an 80mm

I actually meant "and... what do you think?"

I was thinking of your new lens today...wondering if you're pleased....glad to hear it's an improvement...good luck and good shooting with it....

I had a little luck with it today:

I've photographed this drain with my previous 300 f/4.5 and the EF 200 f/2.8L. This is the first time I feel I actually nailed every aspect of the shot (focus, lighting and some sharpening).

Here's a crop. There's a fair amount of noise (Rebel XT at ISO 800 is still a bit noisy). I sharpened it using a high pass layer.

Here are some ducks (Full frame):

The sun was still rising, so the environment wasn't nearly as demanding as it could have been. THere's a little green CA here and there, but it's pretty good performance, in my opinion.

Nikon FM10 today, feeding my addiction to wee little plastic fantastic SLR's (I also have the OM2000 and the Cosina C1s in OM and K mounts respectively).

An Olympus e420/Pancake combo with a Minolta MC/MD Adapter so I can use all my old Rokkors from my dad's X700...

I'm guessing my Canon 5D will probably be a mite jealous.
