Wow, some absolutely incredible photos have been shared here. Looking at these photos, I think to myself, "This is landscape photography." We are so lucky that we get to see some amazing things out there. I never want to take any of it for granted.
How humbling and inspiring this thread is. I am so excited about times to come. I hope more than I hope for a lot of things in life that I can grow to be a real artist when I'm behind the camera.

2009 wasn't too productive for me. I was fairly ill and also had some issues with finances that kept me from getting around too much. Here's a pano that I took this year. 11 shots, 4 seconds at f/11 and using a Hoya R72 IR filter. I think it also needs a crop, but here it is:

This is minaret lake, with a clearing storm, setting crescent moon, and late spring lake ice. My guess is this won't ever happen again
