I look forward to this thread every year and it never disappoints. Excellent posts so far. My haul from this year looks rather average compared to some of these but here's one that stirs some emotion in me. It's Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland.
2009 marked my first full year into photography. I can only hope to reach the level that most have on this forum. Here is one of my best from the past year.
I have to say this is one of my absolute favorites. My Mother in law gave me this "assignment" to shoot her favorite windmills in Eastern Oregon. When I arrived to shoot it at 5:41 in the morning the sun was just comming over the horizon lighting the lovely clouds that were there. This is 9 portrait style shots stiched together. I am including 2 photos. 1 is of the shot, the other is of a print of it in my cube.
This may not be the best but is high on the list and a definite favorite from a trip with Billy (Myweh) out to Arizona and Utah this past October. Everyone's images are truly inspiring and just think we have all next year to do it all over again.
Im almost embarrassed to post here being that I am strictly a motocross photographer.There is just some amazing shots in this thread really I mean wow great stuff guys and girls. This photos was taken at a mx track I saw the tree and something clicked and thought it was a cool shot.
It's always great to do an end of the year look back...often when I forget to be thankful for all the days I was blessed with amazing light...as opposed to those where I just sat around and got skunked...here's a fave of mine this year
