Wow, Doug ... I just read that blog post linked below your picture. What an interesting idea. It's surprising to me that it works, but I'll surely give it a try.
This year was one of my favorites, finally got to spend more time shooting and less time working.
I have enjoyed all the photo's that all of you are putting in here and Wow! There are some beauties, its fun to see all the different slants on this great world we have here to take photo's of

This is always a tough call. Most of us probably have a few that we would call favorites. Since Henry didn't specify landscapes as a requirement, here is one of my favorites (a little landscape in the background!).

Thank you so much, Jeffrey. I didnt say it is a bad image...but if you compare it with the amazing shots posted here...I mean, from a technical point of view...
This is my favorite landscape of 2009. This is a far cry from the stunning nature photos so many others have submitted. I’m New York based and I might as well flaunt it.
The Whitfield Conservation Area opened up this year, ~100 acres along the Rio Grande Bosque.
Had the place all to myself one morning, loved the textures/colors that presented themselves.
