Well I admit, I PM'ed you. I thought that you were getting a "Professional Camera", the EOS-1Ds Mark III with 21MP, that is until you returned my inquiry.
I bet Adobe just said, "So Sorry!"
Boy, oh boy! This combination is really excellent, FF and all. Even without your usual PP, the photos are excellent.
I think that the whites are right on, but what do I know. The clarity and composure are perfect.
thought you couldnt shoot burds with a 5dmk2.well this is what people say here and there...
nice burds damn...
have on order a new Dell with an i7 and a 24 inch monitor woohoo cant wait
I could take that mk2n off your hands since you will be moving to girlie landscape
shots
Very nice Ant, but you should have cleaned up the first bird a bit.
And don't worry about Chad's yeast thing - you've had so much brewer's yeast you are immune to that stuff.
Ron
HUMmmmm so the Ant ---Rants and Adobe is laughing all the time they are depositing his CC in the bank. Now whats wrong with what you got and how did you get there with these. I take DPP over my Adobe CS2 for my raws all the time. Now how did you convert these and whats wrong with them? O yeah I hear the mirrors are falling off that camera. Tony said they used the wrong Elmer's Glue Hang in there Ant and BTW my Stress test came back like I was 75 again Good luck with the new camera and these photos are great.

I didn't PM you either
You buy pirated software you get what's coming
Adobe sucks that's nothing new.
I'm done giving you a hard time
My crappy work monitors blow out whites, but even here these are mighty damn good. Great behavior all wonderfully photographed.
I'll be checking these out at home tonight, that's for sure.
Tim
PS checking these from home and I must say these rock
Well done Ant
No It's not a pirated version Tim. It's a full version but sold at a discount to vendors when Adobe knows there getting close to a new version release. The versions are sold at a discount and therefore not eligible for upgrade. At least that's the way it was explained to me > I just forgot about the fine print thing when I went to upgrade
It's been awhile since I bought my CS3.
But no problems I will buy the full CS4 as soon as Adobe gives me my 200 bucks back
Glad you got home and were able to view these on your home monitor and really glad
you found them OK "They Rocked"
I would have commented much earlier but I was laughing so hard with you Adobe episode, it's soooooooooo NOT funny when that happens
Dude, don't you know a teacher or a student, you can get a nice discount on a legal copy that way geeeessh!
I see one big problem here buddy, what do you need the MKIII for now No doubt these look excellent, especially with the minimal amount of work you did on them. I think you are going to be a very happy ANT with this body I must say the light looked harsh but you were on those whites in a good way, congrats across the board though you lost the battle with Adobe
5 D MK II doesn't have a fast AF. But I've only had it out twice now so a few more attempts will be necessary to really get a feel for how it AF's with fast action stuff. So far it doesn't seem to be promising
My thought for the 5D was to use it with the 800 tripod mounted for static stuff
Mark III with the EF 500 around my neck for faster action stuff.
So far that seems to be working out pretty good.
Only problem is I'm going to HAVE to start getting REALLY good about deleting repeat images of a sequence and anything with a bad pose etc etc 21 MB images really suck up hard drive space

Did you see his last post of underexposed birds with no eyes and no feather detail?
OMG it was so sad.
Appreciate the Kudos on the Images Ed. and the good laugh
