Firmware is out although the main page hasn't been updated yet for English version of the webpage, just press I Agree button and you will see v1.1.0 firmware for download. http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eos5dmk2/firmware.html
I downloaded and installed the update, and can change the shutter speed lower than 1/30 (I'm following the instructions to a T, so either I'm doing something wrong or the instructions are wrong.)

I also can select up to H2 ISO, instructions said only H1.

Got it installed, very cool!!! You just have to select shutter speed, ap, and ISO before recording in M mode and you're good to go. AWESOME.
:You can change shutter, ap, and iso while recording. You will hear the clicks on the mic when playing back though.

I just tried it and no, I can't change any of that WHILE recording. I can change it right before I hit the Set button to start recording.
WHILE I'm recording, if I hold down the shutter button half way, on the left of the rear LCD it shows me the resolution I'm shooting at, what focusing mode I'm using (AF QUICK for example), and exposure compensation.
One thing I just noticed is that if I turn the big dial on the back to adjust EC, the video will get darker from the middle, but if I go into the + side, the video does not get brigther. WTF?
But I cannot change the apeture WHILE shooting video.
