Username: Tranman
Item I was going to sell: 70-200/2.8L
The deal fell through after a couple days as buyer changed his mind. But to compensate me for the couple days wait he paypalled me $20. I thought this was very generous and a sign of a very good person to deal with. I would not hesitate to deal with Tranman again.
i sold my 17-40L to lynn this morning. he needed it sent overnight to grab some exposures in death valley this weekend. communication via email and phone was excellent and payment was made immediately. lynn is a great guy and has my full recommendation.
I recently posted a HELP notice in the wedding forum as I needed some suggestions as to how to best shoot a wedding I was (am) ill prepared to do. He had a 50mm F/1.8 M11 for sale which he originally offered to send to me to borrow. The next thing I know, he has sent the lens to me with the stipulation that if I buy a flash for the wedding, the lens is on him. Now I have NEVER seen such a generous offer from a complete stranger. He got the lens in the mail to me the next day during his lunch hour just to make sure I get it in time. People like that are few and far between. A lens for free sent by a complete stranger to a complete stranger to help out someone in trouble. Amazing.

Such generosity might be hard to believe, but I just purchased a 10D from Smule(Sam) in pristine condition. When I expressed concern over making sure that the camera was packaged in a safe manner, he made sure that the camera and accessories were packaged in a quite secure and damage-proof fashion (It took me a couple minutes to extract the grip from all of the bubble wrap he had placed around it). When this vault-like packaging ended up costing more to ship than anticipated, I offered to cover it. Sam declined this offer and ate the additional cost.
I would not hesitate to recommend buying anything from Sam.

Awesome guy. A real class act. I purchased a 420ex for an incredible deal. He gave me $10 off because I had to drive 20 minutes to get it and on top of it all he gave me some free bounce doohickeys, a set of extension tubes, extra batteries, and an expo disc.
I purchased a Canon 20D from Charles. It was a smooth deal and Charles did everything he said he would do.
As part of the deal I asked Charles to include the original invoice for warranty purposes. He agreed but was unable to get a copy of the invoice from the seller. He kept the communications open with me and assured me that he would stay after seller until he got the invoice. During this time he sent me a couple of emails telling me status. After a couple of months he informed me the seller had finally sent him the invoice and he sent it on to me.
I would not hesitate to do business with Charles again. Highly recommended.
Jeremy very fast to sent the payment to me. He trust my word without need to see the photos for the flash. Very good communication for the whole selling and even inform me the Flash was arrived.
