I recently purchased a Canon 300mm f/4 IS lens from Shaun. The lens was in better than expected condition. It was shipped promptly and communicating with Shaun was a pleasure. I would highly reccommend Shaun as a seller/buyer as everything he stated in his ad was true.

Seller: CGrindahl (Curtis Grindahl)
Item: Canon EOS 1D
Comments: (the story continued, from 2 posts up...)
So I got the 1D from Curtis yesterday, and what a beauty she is. You all know that, though; this isn't a 1D review, so I'll shut up about the camera.
From beginning (when I got the first response from Curtis to my "WTB: 1D" post), through the middle (when it looked like it might all be too hard, thanks to PayPal rules and all sorts of other bureaucratic nightmares), and to the end (the debacle with Australian Customs), Curtis has been a true pleasure to deal with.
Honestly, it never really felt like I was buying a camera from a complete stranger over the internet; more like buying something from a friend of a friend, if that makes sense. I never had any doubt that the transaction would be trouble-free and that I'd receive exactly the item that Curtis described.
As Curtis mentioned, I had a bit of grief with Customs. Isn't it amazing that USPS can get a parcel from San Francisco to Melbourne Airport in two and a half days, yet it takes Customs a week to send me a letter informing me that they've got it? The good men & women at Customs House then had no idea what to do when I turned up with the form I'd received ("Australian Customs: form N10". Customs staff: "Oh, what's this? I don't know what this is."). Incredible. After telling them how to do their job, I got it sorted eventually. Australian "importers" beware!
Anyway... to cut a long story short: Curtis = legend. Top dude. Fear not in any trade: he won't let you down. Thank you, Curtis.
Comments: WOW! I am very finicky about my own equipment and take great care of it, so I am always a bit concerned as to what people deem "good condition". Brad said his 20D + Grip were like new and boy was he spot on! The items came well packed with all original packaging. Some of the stuff was never even taken out of the celephane. All of the stuff inside of the 20D + Grip boxes were packaged as they came from the factory...honestly, it appeared as if it did come from the factory.
You all see where I am going with this...Oh, on top of all of this, to start the transaction, I use my wife's paypal account which has our old address on it. So my new address is "unconfirmed". Brad inquired about this and checked my feedback and trusted me. That means alot to me that people can still take one another's word...even over the internet.
Chalk up another great FM transaction. Brad is what FM should be all about.

Comments: I sold Dan my big Canon - got to chat with him and am glad I was able to find somone local for this deal. Dan did everything as promised - great guy to do business with - highly recommended
Eric is an excellent Seller. Good Communication with all items and very willing to help out the buyer(myself in this case) . Our deal was not the easiest because of my location(Manila, Philippines) but just proves that when two people are honest in dealing, international deals work out. Thanks Eric!

Comment: DodgeV83 bought a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 for Canon mount lens from me. He was great with communication and everything worked out. He didn't have the funds right away, so he sent $25 to hold the lens, and still held through and paid the remainder.

Item: Canon BG-E2 Grip
Comments: I purchased this item from Adam, and the transaction was completely smooth and seamless. When Adam dropped this off for shipping, he actually upgraded the shipping for me out of his own pocket so that I'd get the item in 2 days instead of 7-10 business days.
