@Breitling
I believe this thread has been designated to display photographs taken with the 200 f/2. Maybe start another thread bemoaning the lens somewhere else, not in the photo display thread thanks.
Lens technicals aside, it's really about how you use it and compose with it. To me, the main advantage it has is the IS. Otherwise I'd use a 135L for that f/2 magic.

I always go through a run with this lens where I use it constantly. If i'm posting too many images someone kick my bum and i'll give it a rest.Not YOU Breitling! lol

Well, talking about pretty.... (I don't mean you, Leonid, although for all I know you could be pretty too. )
That DMB's girl is a cutie and her face is rendered as clear as a bell.
Paolo has got some difficult shots pulled off well, and Andrew's series is very charming, with clear, naturally coloured look.

Here are three fun BIF shots with the 200 f/2 IS where.....
(1) I wish I had EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro on my camera instead.
(2) I wish I had 400/500mm prime instead so I wouldn't have to crop 100% and the bird is still way too small.
(3) Ahhhh......finally the right FL for the target.

Thank you, Solomon, glad you like them.
You are right, my best camera for fast action is 1DMkIIN. Particularly when shooting an explosive type action relatively close, like in this shot taken with 200 f/2 IS again, the time window for shooting is perhaps 2 seconds.....in which one needs to frame the bird, focus on its head and fire a short burst.
200 f/2 IS is great for that type of photography, however, the camera is usually the weak link. I've found that 1DMkIIN does OK though.

Can I be of any assistance........?
Like buying from you........
BTW, that picture #3 is awesome...!!!
Thank you, Paul....some day I might let you relieve me of my 200 f/2 IS.......you are No#1 on my list. In the interim, might I interest you in my almost perfect 200 f/1.8 ?
