Some lovely photos... It would be great if folks could state if the images are on full frame, APS-H, or APS-C when posting...
200 f/2 IS on 1DMkIIN, JPG straight outta camera except resized for web.
Just trying to show ya that an 8 Mp camera ain't too shabby for cropping either.
It's a great lens, as so many of those photos above clearly show. But it's also a big bulky and heavy lens! The 200/2 makes the 70-200 2.8 IS look like a lightweight carryaround option.
I had the 200/2 on a monopod at Colonial Williamsburg around Thanksgiving last year and people were staring at me everywhere I went with it.
That lens is commitment in every respect. You've got to commit to paying for it and then to carrying it around. But the photos with it really are unique.
I'd love to compare this lens (even 1.8 version) with Leica Apo 180/2.8.
I really like the pictures from this lens.
I saw some pictures taken with f/1.8 version, and it's incredible.
85/1.8 can imitate 85L to a certain level, but I haven't seen any lens that would imitate the uniqueness that can be seen in this lens.
BTW, the link is a Korean photography forum site.
When you have time, you can look through the over 12000 pages of pictures.
There are some inspiring pictures.

Epuja, Michael, glad you like the colours.
I must add that no PP colour alteration of the images has been done.
Those JPGs have been processed in 1DMkIIN as Standard Picture Style, Custom Set as follows: Sharpness=6, Contrast=1, Saturation=2, Tone=0.
