You are right, my best camera for fast action is 1DMkIIN. Particularly when shooting an explosive type action relatively close, like in this shot taken with 200 f/2 IS again, the time window for shooting is perhaps 2 seconds.....in which one needs to frame the bird, focus on its head and fire a short burst.
200 f/2 IS is great for that type of photography, however, the camera is usually the weak link. I\'ve found that 1DMkIIN does OK though.
