How do you make ducks to move like that ?. Here in TX, everybody is so laid back including the ducks, geese, cows, ants, and me

Oh ya?!? I'm going to get a duck blind and and put nectar in a funnel and tons of bread and tie a mouse to a string and sleepovernight and get a shot she'll never get! A combo hawk, hummer, duck AND egret shot! Hehe...

Bad lighting... no extender but I will go back to get some awesome shots! This nest is only 15 minutes from my house

Is this as close as you can get? Maybe some extenders would be nice...or time for that 800mm that's got your name on it!

Wing, this is as close as I can get because it is a Marsh with tall grasses

I plan on getting the 1.4 soon... not ready for the 800

I hope the next time I go I will have better lighting and hopefully a flyover

If I thought I would not drown I would go closer

Are you planning to use the 1.4xTC on the 400 f/5.6 ?
If possible at all, I'd try to stay with the bare lens.

Yes... its raining up and down the entire west coast of the United States. Visibility is zero for hundreds of feet. Fog, smog, bog, logs... its all over!
