I'm selling this excellent lens which I just converted.
It can be used on any Canon DSLR without an adapter.
The body shows marks of extensive use, but optics look excellent.
The lens comes with a case and a custom made front cap.
I'm asking for $500.

Can you do more conversions? I have a couple fd's I've been wanting to get converted but I want to make sure they work afterwords.

Does it maintain infinity focus after the conversion?

Infinity focus can be done, but not exactly on the infinity mark. (little bit before the mark)

a few questions

it works with any DSLR? correct
does it give shooting aperture information to the camera or is it always 2.8?
does it provide metering information or do you use the histogram?

It works with any Canon DSLR.
I've taken pictures wide open and stopped down with AV mode, it served my purpose.
However, the exif says the aperture value is "0".
I guess that means exif data of the pictures from the lens will not be recorded correctly.
