Here's a Flickr link. Copy and paste the whole video link into your browser (the @ symbol seems to mess up the link.) Keep in mind the video is downsampled by Flickr.

I know, they must have had about 4 of them. They went from "new item not yet in stock" to "temporarily out of stock" awfully fast.

You might misundstand my point . Look at the picture carefully, I believe is a "TRUE" rare edition of 5D II because my 5D II does not look that way.

Looks like a 5D markI with a markII badge

My feeling is that if you really liked the 5D, you'll love the 5D Mark II...

Nicely done, but I don't get how the cat stays in frame and a static percentage of that frame as it approaches the camera if the vid is shot with a fixed 300mm.

Also, and this is nit-picking... it seems to loose sharp focus once or twice in that same scene as the cat comes toward the lens. Watch the eyes.

All that said, it is far, far superior to anything that's ever come out of my video efforts.

Very cool. This a major trick that the D3X and 1Ds Mk III cannot perform. For stills IQ, I am sure the 5D II is no slouch compared the D3X which is 3x the price. What is there not to like about the 5D II?

I just got my 5DII a few days ago !! I am so very happy, it really is a dream camera to me!

I have a fun photo that I took today at the San Diego Zoo that I would like to share. The baby(about 8 months old) is on the mom's back. Taken with the new 5D 300 f4 lens ISO around 400. Cropped very in very little...

If you can extract nice pic from the video, does it mean you don't have to have high fps ?

Wait and see...I thought the same...it is turn out just fine. CS4 is much faster now, which I think helps with the larger file size too.

I'm more worried about the video. I've got an older dual G5 and Powerbook G4 that run perfectly fine, handle CS4 just fine, but really don't do well with HD video.

Couldn't help but notice how many times the lynx went out of focus-not to criticise the photographer, but the af on the video looks like it could use improvement.

What AF? That was all manually focused as far as I'm aware. Just his technique needs to be better. For a LOT of photogs who've never done video, this is a VERY typical result. Still stunning video!

Apple updated their MacBook Pros at just the right time. They handle my 1080p videos from the 5D with ease. (2.53Ghz model)
