Well, you're right EOSFun, I don't take most of your posts too seriously
But to actually be serious (for a moment), I know he's only having fun but I just couldn't stand the thought of going another whole round of false (date) prophecies with their related assertions of divine authority etc, etc., only to have them followed with the inevitable congregational disappointment. I was kind of hoping that today's lesson might have been: let's just wait until Photokina. Alas, not to be apparently.
ps. I just noticed a significant absence from your post! A good omen perhaps?!

You might well be right, Canon might announce on Monday but I think it makes more sense for them to delay & reap the benefits of the buzz that's being generated. Likewise, for the bored & expectant here, it's more interesting to chose another "announcement date" to look forward to & speculate about than just to wait until (*just* before) Photokina.

I suspect a day or 2-3 before PK, just to get the pre-PK boost. AT PK there will be lots of news, just before they might get a single star on the night-sky experience. But we'll know within 10 days

My guess is a day - max 2 - before PK. But this rumor mill is not going to slow down in the meantime!
