I have a (stupid) question, it might have been asked before.
People always say that more resolution/Better sensors need better lenses. And I get part of that, if you want a lens that fully resolves 24MP on a fullframe, you need a good lens, but what is the problem with it resolving just 19MP? Then you know for certain that you are peaking the lenses performance? Why is that any worse than the sensor not resolving the lenses maximum potential? Am I missing something here?
Incidentally, them Canon boys must have been given extra rations of Ginkgo Biloba "powder" these days....that painstakingly wordsmithed "Destined Evolution" may sound corny yet it looks like it is meant to appeal to both "Creationists" and "Evolutionists".
Huh. He snuck out of town eh? There's no word from anyone else either so I guess we can conclude that all those people who were adamant we'd have an announcement today were wrong.

Yep, September 15 is the next full moon. So the announcement could well be sometime next week, Hopefully on the 15th (Isn't Zeiss also meant to be announcing their new ZE Lenses on the 15th?).
A match made in heaven: the best manual focus cameras in the world meet the best MF lenses.
