Wow, some very nice, good looking lenses here. And of course, the "big boys" ...
Not having that much to show in terms of lenses, since mine are usualy in a less good shape for modeling, but still, two pictures for this thread.
First is from one sexy lens with a big front element compared to it's length - the mighty Planar 85/1.4 :

And second, the "big boys" - the Mamiya 55mm 2.8 and 80mm 4.0 Macro :

Hey, that Pentax...a great little lens, far outsized performance! The resolution from it, including into the corners, is pretty amazing!

PSquared63,

I can't breathe!

But you know, considering it's one of the finest lenses in the world, it sure is funny looking. It should be called "the magic coffee mug." Or maybe "the magic flashlight."

someday......

The Holy Trinity is now considered alternative glass? (Not that they aren't beautiful lenses)

The trinity are not beautiful but they are all very good. The 85L is among the finest lenses ever made IMO.

Well, the handle does make it look funny, but it comes in really handy in putting it on and taking it off the tripod. Also, there is a slot on the vertical of the handle that you can use as a "gun sight" to locate the subject and help you place it in the viewfinder.
