Shot at f/4 close to the minimum focus distance.
It is a Praktica kitlens. It has the zebra stripes of a Zeiss, but the only lettering on
the front says: 'Aus Jena'

Aus Jena means from Jena, a place in Germany.

Thank you Victor - that was an interesting read.I knew some of it from earlier but this Aus Jena thing is something I never really understood fully.

Cool! A shot of your black lab. Looks like he is getting a belly rub on the floor.
Like the smooth bokeh on the sigma.
So has the Sigma 50 1.4's AF focusing problems been fixed?
You are probably using MF anyway.
How about a Rokkor 58 shot of the big guy?
