Those were shot from a raft on the wild and scenic section of the Rogue River in southern Oregon. Those cliff side oaks are scattered sporadically around that part of Oregon. Here are some more from the same roll, these are much more typical of the forest there.
Now that school is out, the campus is clear for me to wander on my lunch breaks from my office. Captured the other week, All Saints Chapel at the University of the South. Delta 400, Leica M5, VC 35/2.5, d76 1:1, pakon scan.
I think this might have been the first time I shot landscapes on 35mm color negative. Kodak Gold 200 - not exactly a resolution monster... might have to try Ektar 100 some day
Not 100% sure if I will stick with color on 35mm or go back to MF for this. 4 rolls of Gold 200 left though.
Shot on Nikon FM with various Ai-S lenses (28, 50, 105)

I think you did very well with the gold 200. Ektar is very nice for landscapes in 35mm but my personal preference is portra 160 for the dynamic range. I can get all the shadow detail I want and still not worry about highlights at all. Will be posting up some ektar 35mm in the coming days as I just scanned some so maybe give you an idea of how it performs in 35mm for landscapes.
I haven’t been able to find Portra in 35mm in a long time! Always on the hunt.

I have a stash...maybe 1 or so pro packs as I haven't shot a whole lot of c41 the past year or 2 other than burning through an old stock of c200 and xtra400 from when walmart had their closeout specials 4-5 years ago.
