A texture filter applied in PS or other photo editing software?
A texture applied by the scanning SW or "neg to pos" plugin run in demo mode?
Fine emulsion cracking due to usage of chemicals at greatly different temperatures?
Are they on one frame, all frames on the roll? Multiple rolls or one roll?
How is it scanned, inverted ?

It's the whole roll. My google-fu figured it out: reticulation.
