What an adventure! I’ve always wanted to go on one of those back roads with my Tacoma 4x4, but either don’t have the time or have my little one with me. I worry about stuff like you ran into and think better of taking that road.

We usually do some fairly adventurous stuff, taking the pickup way out into the desert. This was the worst mishap and makes you think.

I don't know if I like this so much because she's my grand daughter, but I just love the look she had watching rhymes on U-tube.
She absorbs and retains so much at 2 years old it's frightening.
Note to self and other photogs: When doing tripod landscape work at the edge of a body of water, leave the dogs at home. They can have a walk another day. Else your camera may take a dunk in the water. Time to send my mint condition XD-11 off for a CLA. Bag of rice for a week didn't save it.
