Love this. Great mood.
I'm curious how you handled the reciprocity failure for such a long exposure.
I've only shot long exposures w/Ektar a few times but much shorter.
Dan
It had metered the scene at 8 seconds to keep the shadows where I wanted them but still have detail in the sky (moon was gonna be blown regardless). Using the reciprocity calculator app it recalculated exposure with Ektar to be 14 seconds so I set my timer for 15 to get a bit more room in the deep shadows. Funnily enough, this is the second exposure on this scene.. After metering and getting the reciprocity figured out I looked at the camera and saw a 15 and stopped thinking all together. So the first shot of this scene is a 1/15 second image, which is all black except for an almost perfectly exposed moon. Pays to have another sip of coffee and reset the old brain I guess..
A few from the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens yesterday. I thought the Magnolias would be fully out, but I guess they need to cook for a few more days. Crocii were out in force, though.

Two 8X10 B&Ws from Big Bend. The first is the old J.O. Langford store down near Boquillas and the hot springs; the second is an early shot from Sotol Vista overlook. Both images made with my Chamonix 810V on Kodak TxP320 negative film.

Not that hardcore! We trailer-ed them and then rode them to BBRSP and BBNP for some day riding in the desert. A lot of mishaps on this trip! If you feel inclined, you can read all about the shenanigans, problems and mishaps from that trip here,
