and my favorite from the roll...captured at about 60mph through the window. Light was crazy with some side back lighting from sun rays making the frozen tree branches and ground glow with dark clouds all around.
That's a sweet lens Edward. I have a manual focus Nikon set up too. Instead, I bought the 85mm f/2.0 Ai-S. One day I'll get the f/1.4 lens. It is sooo beautiful.

Thank you RM. The 85/1.4 I bought is mint but turned out to have some slight wobble. Will keep it and have it fixed later on though, since it isn’t easy to find them in good condition. Unfortunately I have to return the 28/2. This too is wobbly but a bit too much. Too bad because I like its rendering. Ordered its smaller 2.8 brother brand new.

Lovely reflections and colors. How do you like the Plustek, RM? Does it have enough Dmax to scan slides efficiently?
I'm pretty happy with the Plustek. I dont shoot much slide film anymore and no knowing about Dmax so I can't really answer your question. Here are a few slide scans to show you what it can do.

Those look fantastic! Thank you for sharing. Did you scan with Silverfast?
You are very welcome. Yep, always with SilverFast. Sometimes the colors come out a bit wonky. I have not calibrated the scanner so perhaps that would help. Usually I just adjust the white balance to bring them back into line. This scanner really shines when it comes to 35mm film. I never liked flatbed scanning for the smaller film and the Plustek really takes it up a notch or two.
