Im still shooting with 6 mpix. Might have some issues, but I think its okay. At least it shouldnt be much noisy.. Their image gallery looks fine to me. Price is a bit high.
Once again I lurk back onto this thread. Apologies to the regulars that my film shooting is periodic and my processing varies between bouts of DIY and use of commercial labs.
I just received back 2 films shot on my Hasselblad 503CX with with either the Schneider-Compur era CF80 f/2.8 or Makro-Planar 120 f/4 lenses.
I shot a roll of Portra 160 and a roll of Fuji Acros. I think I failed to seal the roll of ACros properly because the lab returned the negs and scans and I only had two shots that were legible! I had better results with the Portra.
TBH, I'm blown away by the Makro-Planar's and Portra's resolution on this first shot. I lost my recording data due to a corrupted phone backup after a screen repair (should have used paper!)
Shot a roll of delta 100 recently and noticed after about 12 frames that I forgot to set the ASA dial to 100, still on 320 from my last roll of c-41. Soooo, I kept on shooting and developed in Diafine. Pretty big push and supposedly delta 100 doesn't push in diafine, but, results were ok. A little muddy in the midtones and lacking detail in the shadows, but still nice. Camera was an ae-1, lens is a super cheap Gemini badged 80-200/4.5 that is surpisingly sharp, even wide open. Pakon scanned.
