Playing catch up as well. So many great images in this thread. Kudos to all. Two more, Ektar in the countryside. Less light than I needed for the first. First was the 75 I believe, second and third the 150. Number 3 probably needs scanned at a higher but depth.
From Ansel Adams point, Grand Tetons NP. M5, delta 100. First lens is vc35/2.5 w/ orange filter, 2nd with elmar 90 and orange filter. developer hc110 dil E, scanned on the pakon
Thanks, guys. I recently swapped my Leica MM1 for an M6 and a film experiment. I tried this a few times before but this time decided to make a one year commitment. I shoot 99% B&W and home-process. So far I'm enjoying all aspects of the workflow. My output volume is signicantly lower, but that's OK. I have since also added an Olympus XA2 (photo below).
Still learning the Contax G2 with regard to its focus behavior. These three are all on Kodak Tri-X pushed one stop to 800 and shot with the G2 and 35mm Planar.
I struggle consistently with the 90mm, I can't seem to get anything in focus with that lens, but otherwise the rest (21,28,35,45) are all more or less accurate. It's probably that I'm just not used to an AF camera after all this time with manual gear.
Anyways, the 35mm seems to catch a bad rap for being the weakest lens but to me it works just fine from what I can see. The 21mm Biogon is definitely the stand-out performer of the bunch though!
