This is a test shot, trying out a PC Nikkor 35mm shift lens on a Fuji TX1 (same as Hasselblad xpan) camera. The image circle doesn't cover the full frame, but still is way less expensive than the 30mm/5.6 that is supposed to go with the camera. Expired Fuji Superia200, home-developed (although half-hour development services still available here in Amsterdam).
By the way Jon, I really appreciate how you are keeping this thread going with your enthousiasm about film. It is a pity that Pakon scanners are very hard to get here. The Nikon Coolscan9000 is really very good, but so slow...
Thank you Paul. I enjoy this thread so don't mind posting FWIW, there is a dedicated Pakon FB page, secret but easy to join. There are pakon's that occasionally sell in Europe on there. We are worldwide with membership. That coolscan is a very nice scanner though but I empathize with you on speed.
(Yikes - accidentally posted this in the "main" forum.Sorry!)
Here are some representative shots from my recent foray into film photography. Since they were done over a few weeks, and since I am just starting out, I have no record of the specific shots. Either a Nikon F6, F5, or FM3A, probably with a Zeiss 1.4/35, 2/28, or a Nikon 50 1.2AI-s. Probably Portra 160. Scanned with VueScan on an Epson v800. Processed with ColorPerfect and Photoshop. (I got a pencil, notepad, and the Meta35 so I will get better with this!)

Welcome to our little film hideaway on FM. Happy shooting!
First outing in black and white. This is Ilford HP5, Nikon F6, 85mm 1.4 AI-s, scanned with an Epson v800 using Epson Scan, which I feel is best for B&W. Working with 16 bit limits the flexibility in Photoshop. Also, I can see that I will need to get a yellow filter, for the skies...
Peter, nice to see you post. Hope your Dad is doing ok.
Fuji TX-1. 45mm, expired Fuji C200,
Awesome thing about this camera is it is a medium format camera. The long size of the negative is the same as that of a 6x7 image. What other MF camera gets 21 exposures per roll?
Thanks Huss. I'll be spending a good part of this year in Monterey. Don't expect him to last long. After he fell and broke his pelvis a month ago, it's been a rapid downhill slide. Just have to be realistic as he's 89 and now has a lot going on.
