I just bought some expired on Ebay & the chemistry was dried out
But I took my chances.
I have a secondary reason though... I've figured out a way to put cut down 4x5 film in the empty holders for use in the limited shutter/lens camera

The chemicals can freeze if you store them too cold. I put them in my garage, which in the winter, hovers around 20 deg F / -7 C at the coldest. The packs don't freeze at that temp. Refrigerator is fine.
The current FP-3000b stock available brand new at B&H etc. has an expiration date of June 2015 (this month)... but it's not really expired, either.
What's nice about the 3000b is it develops faster than the 100c, and is usable in low-light and indoors.
Love seeing this courthouse. Too bad the very tip got cut off. Maybe you can add a bit to the top to include it and give it some breathing room. Steven Fromholz referenced Bosque County in his classic song Texas Trilogy.
kwoodward, not stand, just 1+100 Rodinal for 7 minutes.
Peter, I didn't cut much off the top but I take your point. Was having a problem getting a shooting position that game me room and just ran outa room. Fromholz was born in nearby Temple over in Bell County.
rattymouse, I bought my Shenhao new from badger graphic.com for $919. Already had a few lenses. I really enjoy large format…makes me slow down.
