Shot on my favorite camera with my favorite lens. Mikkatsuki Falls in Fukushima Japan, sadly not that far the from nuclear power plant. Shot with on 4x5 Velvia 50 on an Arca-Swiss Field with a Schneider 110XL, 30s at f/32.

Very nice scans!
I checked it out on that website. The price is right (for my budget) and I could live with the resolution. My problem is the brochure states the OS supported is windows2k and windows xp. I run vista and 7, not sure if it would be compatible. Any info? Thanks for the link by the way. This seems like an easy solution
Thanks kop.cppua.
I did a little research earlier and read this. I guess I need to dig further. I really do not want to go back to xp or have to get ahold of an old xp machine. I may see if I can find a work around. If anyone knows of one, let me know.

Jon:
If you have Windows 7 ultimate / professional / enterprise, it will come with the ability to download Virtual PC and a copy of WinXP to run in it straight from Microsoft. This is how I run my Pakon scanner. Yes, a bit of a PITA but worth it. There is no workaround other than a virtual PC or a dedicated XP machine.
If you go this route, be sure to set up your virtual disk with about 20GB of disk space and about 2 GB of RAM before you start installing the software. There is a facebook group for the Kodak / Pakon F135 scanner (similarly named). A newer version of the Pakon software is posted there that gives you the ability to scan true B&W film-- this software version is not the same as what AAA Imaging includes with the scanner.
Just started getting back into developing my own B&W, last time was maybe 4 years ago during college. Made my own tylenol based Rodinal, 1:100 semi stand developed for 1 hour. Shot with a Yashica T4 Super with HP5+ expired last year.

corposant,
Nice scene. What film type?
That looks like 6x7 format to me
Care to elaborate on gear?

Mamiya 7ii, 43mm, Fuji Pro 160C, Calumet threaded cable release, chocolate peanut butter Clif bar, New Balance trail-runners, Dasani water bottle with tap water, and I believe I filled up at Chevron (with Techron!) before I drove over.
I have been saving up my rolls too, and will hopefully develop them soon. It's the scanning that slows me down, though...
I have been trying to justify a Plustek 120, but $2000 is a huge number. If I got hi-rez scans from NCPS for the 170ish rolls I have in my freezer, I guess it would be worthwhile, but I could spend a little more and get an A7r, macro lens, and a lightbox and get a digital camera along with it!
I have quite a bit to go through, but I'll post more frequently.
Here's one from my old Bronica ETRS (no more Mamiya, this is my only MF camera now) with the 50PE lens. I like the rendering alot. Shot on TMAX and developed in ID11 at 1+1 and scanned on my Epson V700. I need those betterscanning holders I think...
I just acquired my next tool, the Mamiya RB67 Pro. plus 65mm f/4.5 ! I can't wait to get the Polaroid back for it, and also, finally learn to shoot 120 film too! I sadly let go my Rollei 6008 pro., but, this replacement looks promising, and thankfully affordable!
