finally got some film processed. looks like my camera has developed a new light leak.

minolta xd-11 and rokkor 28/2. vignetting added by virtue of me only having 49mm ND filters.

portra 400 btw.

Exactly. Right now film is much more fun to work with than digital and I'm definitely not complaining about the results as well!

your portra 400 shots are much, much grainier than the last roll of it I shot:

400 speed color and grain is basically invisible in web sized images. I love this stuff, although it's not for testing your lens' sharpness.

Digital manipulation will definitely exaggerate grain.

Yep. I didn't do too much to it but when I brought up the shadows it increased the grain overall. I'm sure I could do some work to get rid of it but it's not a big deal to me.
